Women Amateur Filmmakers packages now available to book.

The East Anglian Film Archive (EAFA) are currently offering three packages for exhibition with a fourth package based around the theme of travel available from May. The cinema packages are available licence free until 31st August 2016. After this period normal licence costs apply.

The initial packages are as follows:

Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain collection: Secrets and Lies (Running time: 51 mins 4s)

The Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain explore themes close to the heart, such as love and infidelity; time and identity in this dramatic collection.

Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain collection: Fun on Film (Running time: 46 mins 29s)

This cinema package showcases some of the Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain collection's most colourful and comical characters, from a clumsy young maid to a flute-playing cat.

Highlights from the Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain collection (Running Time: 61 mins 24s)

Explore the diversity of the Women Amateur Filmmakers in Britain collection with films spanning numerous decades and themes, including drama, comedy, animation, documentary and travelogues.

Packages are available as Digital Cinema Packages and on DVD. To book a DVD package please contact Sarah Hill directly at S.Hill1@uea.ac.uk. We are keen to work with exhibitors to expand the packages if there is high demand.

There is also the possibility of arranging guest speakers to introduce screenings – this may include members of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers or other external partners.
